About Us
The Farncombe Cavern is a regular live entertainment venue, situated above the Freeholders Public House in St. John’s Street, Farncombe, Godalming, Surrey.
The Farncombe Cavern is an intimate and comfortable venue, with a capacity of about 110 with a mix of seating and standing. It has its own separate entrance, well-stocked bar and friendly staff. The focus will be on live music covering a broad range of genres including blues, country, folk aswell as monthly comedy & jazz nights.
Attendees of all ages are welcomed however this is a challenge 21 venue which means If you are lucky enough to look under 21 you will be asked to prove that you are over 18 before you can purchase alcohol The only forms of ID accepted are Passport or valid Driving License.
The Farncombe Cavern welcomes everyone and our aim is to make your visit as comfortable and enjoyable as possible, whether you’re here to watch or play. We are a first floor venue and whilst we would like to provide easy access for all, there may be accessibility problems for those with restricted mobility. Entry is via a stairway [with one turn]. The venue itself, however, is on one level. If you have a disability and want to visit us for a performance, drop us an email well in advance and we’ll do everything we can to help.
There is limited street parking in the area however there are a number of public car parks nearby such as at the nearby Farncombe mainline railway station.
